Positive Deviance NYC began with a simple refusal: participating in public life should not require people to relinquish their health to experience joy and connection.

Over the past year we tested that belief in public, producing clean-air concerts, dance parties, listening sessions, author talks, game nights, and community gatherings. Every one of them mask-positive, with clean air built in rather than hoped for.
